*P³-Index

Der P³-Index ist ein von ValueTech.de entworfenes System zur Gesamtbewertung von Produkten. In unserer langjährigen Erfahrung als Tester mussten wir in den Redaktionen oft feststellen, dass weder das beste Produkt noch jenes mit dem besten Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis unser Favorit war, noch der unserer Leser.

Der Grund dafür ist einfach: Die besten Produkte sind meist unverhältnismäßig teuer und statt dem mit dem rechnerisch "besten Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis" kaufen wir lieber ein etwas besseres Produkt für nur etwas mehr Geld - Wie oft kauft man schon Produkt xyz, da machen 5-10 Euro mehr keinen Unterschied, oder?

Mathematisch gesehen muss also lediglich die Leistung höher gewichtet werden als der Preis. Dementsprechend haben wir das Leistung/Preis-Verhältnis (Prozentpunkte je Euro) nochmals mit dem Leistungsindex multipliziert. Heraus kommen etwas unhandliche %²/€ - also belassen wir es doch beim P³-Index (PPP - Performance-Performance-Price).
